BOO AT THE ZOO | OCTOBER 19 & 20 FROM 10 A.M. – 4 P.M. + OCTOBER 26 & 27 FROM 10 A.M. – 4 P.M.
It’s almost the spooky season and we’re getting ready for one of the Edmonton Valley Zoo’s favourite Halloween traditions: Boo at the Zoo! Presented by North Central Co-op, our Boo at the Zoo Halloween event is being held October 19 & 20 and October 26 & 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Get ready to celebrate Conservation, Costumes and Candy with us! Come to the zoo dressed up in your Halloween costume to visit with and learn about some of your favourite animals. And of course there will be treats! While our animals are getting their Halloween pumpkin enrichments, our human friends can score some candy at our 10 treat stops located around the zoo.
Halloween is also a spooky season, so learn about some of our spooky animals including our nocturnal creatures and watch them get Halloween treats! Stop by the Not So Scary Skeletons table and the Palm Oil Awareness table to learn about animal conservation. There will also be a Pumpkin Patch photo op area and a meet and greet with some of your favourite characters!
While you’re here, don’t forget to walk through the extinct animal graveyard. Here you will have the chance to see some of the animals that our world has lost throughout the years while learning a little about what they were like and what led to their extinction.
Come enjoy Boo at the Zoo! General admission applies and timed tickets are available online only at movelearnplay.edmonton.ca two weeks ahead of the event dates. You will need to select the date of the event in the calendar search bar. We will not be accepting walk-up admissions – you must book tickets in advance. Please bring reusable treat bags for all of your goodies! This event runs rain or shine so please dress for the weather.
