BOO AT THE ZOO | OCTOBER 18 & 19 FROM 10 A.M. – 4 P.M. + OCTOBER 25 & 26 FROM 10 A.M. – 4 P.M.
The autumn weather has settled in, waving away the warmth of summer and welcoming a new season of excitement. With Halloween lurking around the corner, there is no better time to enjoy some scarily good fun at the Edmonton Valley Zoo! North Central Co-op is proud to present another year of Boo at the Zoo, our spooky spectacle of delight that invites visitors of all ages.
Boo at the Zoo is the perfect opportunity to visit your favourite animals while celebrating some autumnal festive fun! The grounds have transformed with enchanting decorations and bewitching characters, providing guests with plenty of photo opportunities. Our zookeepers will also be handing out pumpkin enrichments, demonstrating how we keep our animals engaged through dynamic care. Visitors during Boo at the Zoo are encouraged to wear their coolest costumes for trick-or-treating at our candy stops while taking in animal exhibits and learning about conservation.
In addition to our onsite excitement, our Valley Zoo Development Society team is offering another spooky surprise! Battys for Baddies is our fantastic Halloween campaign that supports local bat conservation efforts. Donors will symbolically adopt an Edmonton Valley Zoo Jamaican fruit bat, which can be named in honour of a “baddie” in their life. Donors will receive an official spine chilling certificate, sealing their generosity forever!
Are you ready to embark on an unforgettable day out and support our conservation efforts? Book your tickets now to visit our animals (and creepy crawlers) and enjoy a not-so-scary Halloween! Boo at the Zoo takes place October 18-19 and October 25-26, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Be sure to secure your tickets in advance as we will not be accepting walk-up admissions. General admission rates apply.
